This selective memory is a dangerous game, as it distorts the historical narrative and fuels resentment.
The rise of religious fundamentalism in Punjab is a cause for concern, exacerbated by the ruling party's ineffective governance. When political power is derived from a mercurial party chief rather than the people, the state's ability to address complex security issues becomes compromised.
