Park and Facility Closures
- All parks and libraries in Buncombe County are closed on Saturday, January 31, 2026, due to the ongoing snow and weather conditions. This includes the landfill and transfer station.

Trash Pickup Delays
- FCC Environmental, the contracted waste management company, is operating on a delayed schedule. Friday's trash pickups have been moved to Saturday, and those rescheduled for Saturday will now be collected on Monday.
- This pattern of delays will continue, with Monday collections shifting to Tuesday, and so forth, until the county resumes its regular trash pickup schedule.
